Director and Chief Curator of the Rubin Center for the Visual Arts
Located on the US/Mexico border, the Rubin Center serves as a laboratory for innovative artists and practitioners from across the globe, using contemporary art as a catalyst to explore social, political and economic issues with audiences from both Mexico and the United States. Kerry Doyle specializes in curatorial projects that are interdisciplinary, participatory and performative, with a special focus on the border as subject and site. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from De Paul University, Chicago, and a B.A. in Drawing and Printmaking and M.A. in Latin American and Border Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. She was a 2014 graduate of the Getty Leadership Institute and 2009 Fellow at the Smithsonian Institute for Latino Museum Studies.
